The OV-Series valve is a “Relief Valve” (RV) in a sense that the outlet pressure doesn’t affect the valve’s set pressure. The valves operate off the inlet pressures only. The OV-Series valve is to be used when you don’t want the backpressure to affect the valve’s opening pressure.
